We are excited to announce that our “Bassinets for Babies” campaign is all wrapped up. All 38 new bassinets are either on-site or on order! We would like to thank everyone who supported this project to replace all existing wooden bassinets with the “gold standard” model from Stryker (pictured below). This campaign raised $152,000 and took only 12 months to reach completion.

In addition to the bassinets, the maternity department at Medicine Hat Regional Hospital has also been rejuvenated thanks to our donors – Enerplus and Aecon. Thanks to their generous donations, Paintergirl was contracted to give the department a facelift. She has truly made the area family-friendly and a happy place for photos and fond memories in those important first moments or days of a baby’s life. This project was just completed in time to celebrate Mother’s Day and has been well received thus far!
