Every year, Sport & Event Marketing and Management (SEMM) students at Medicine Hat College raise donations for our healthcare Foundation through PJs For a Purpose – encouraging locals to wear pyjamas to their school or workplace for a $5 donation.
All funds raised go towards supporting our pediatric unit!

2025 Event
On February 7, 2025, the SEMM students aimed to raise $5,000 to create a sports-themed room in the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital pediatric unit. Through hard work (and a lot of plaid), they managed to more than double their target goal and raise over $10,000! The special room was completed by summer 2025, and now kids are enjoying their stay in our hospital so much more!
