The Medicine Hat Health Foundation wishes to show their support to the Drug Coalition of Medicine Hat by lighting the teepee purple from Aug 25- Aug 31, 2022 for International Overdose day on August 31, 2022. The coalition’s goal is to raise more awareness of those lost to substance related deaths.

On August 31st, from 5-8 pm in the library courtyard (414 First Street S.E.), there will be the 5th annual event promoting reflection and remembrance. It will feature a BBQ, and the opportunity to honour our lost loved ones.

Please join them for a candlelight vigil through the lens of dignity, inclusion, and removal of stigma.
